RUBIK'S 3X3 CUBE SOLUTION Part 6

STEP 6. LOOKING FOR CORRECTLY POSITIONED UPPER CORNER PIECES OF ANY SIDE COLORS

Why side colors? Here's why, upon arriving in STEP 6;
1. You have completed your WHITE bottom,
2. You have completed your MIDDLE layer,
3. You have completed your YELLOW top,
4. You will now focus on the UPPER side colors (BLUE, ORANGE, GREEN, AND ORANGE)
5. There will now be only FOUR corner pieces to concentrate on.
6. Do not mind the UPPER edge pieces (gitnang piyesa) for the meantime.

Let's continue...
When I say correctly positioned corner pieces I am talking about the side color corner pieces.
It may be RED-RED corner piece; BLUE-BLUE corner piece; GREEN-GREEN corner; ORANGE-ORANGE corner piece.
These correctly positioned corner pieces may have DIFFERENT edge piece in between them. If it is not so, we have already solved the cube. The probability of this happening is great. But, i've seen it happened many times for me. Imagine not doing STEP 6 and 7 (ang bilis di ba?)

(That's why I'm proud to learn and to impart to all of you these set of algorithms because it's not always up to STEP 7. Sometimes you may skip this part and go directly to Step 7, ang galing, diba?)

TWO possible ways:
1. ONE of the four side colors is correctly positioned.
2. ALL of the four side colors are correctly positioned. (I'll give you a TIP . STEP 6 is not needed here!!!)

For ONE PAIR OF CORRECTLY POSITIONED CORNER PIECES (ANY COLOR)
1. Place this pair at the back. If you want you may place it together with its CENTER face then PLACE THIS FACE AT THE BACK.
2. (If you are already experienced enough, you can do the moves eventhough this pair is NOT with its FACE).
3. I repeat, place the pair of any correctly positioned color at the back. YELLOW on top. WHITE underneath.
4. Do the following moves,

...RIGHT Side DOWN; FRONT rotate to your right; RIGHT Side DOWN; BACK rotate 180 degrees (left or right, it doesn't matter; it will fall on the same spot); RIGHT Side UP; FRONT go towards your left; RIGHT Side DOWN; BACK rotate 180 degrees ; RIGHT Side DOWN; RIGHT Side DOWN...

After doing this move, you will now have :
1.THREE upper side colors correctly positioned. (Either BLUE, ORANGE, RED or GREEN)
2. Place it together with it's own FACE to form a solid color (one colored FACE).
3. Place this AT THE BACK.
4. Look at your LEFT, FRONT, and RIGHT sides.
5. Repeat moves above if number 1 is not met.

POSSIBLE OUTCOMES:
1. One solid color at the back. Your LEFT Side, RIGHT Side; and FRONT has NO TWO correctly positioned CORNER PIECES. Ok but not quite. Repeat the moves above with the same orientation. You will arrive at outcome number 2 below. And, be ready with the last STEP.

2. One solid color at the back. Your LEFT Side, RIGHT Side; and FRONT has TWO correctly positioned CORNER PIECES. Very good!! You are now ready for the last STEP.

For ALL OF THE UPPER CORNER PIECES ARE CORRECTLY POSITIONED:
1. We will skip STEP 6 and go directly to STEP 7. You have save a lot of time!!!

Next... THE FINAL STEP

RUBIK'S 3X3 CUBE SOLUTION Part 5

STEP 5. COMPLETING THE YELLOW COLOR ON TOP

After you have finished STEP 4. It is NOT always the YELLOW CROSS that will appear on TOP. There are FOUR probable designs that will appear on TOP. Listed below are the FOUR in order;
1. The FISH-like design.... very, vey good... you need less time to complete the YELLOW on TOP,
2. The TWO-POINTED EDGE design.... very good,
3. The BOTTLE-like design (some of my students call it the TANK ), good, you need a fast hand here to gain loss time
4. The CROSS, it's ok but you will need a very quick hand reflexes here and keen eyes.

ALL of the above designs are okay because you will only need your right hand ( after sometime you can do the moves without looking or even talk to somebody while completing your top color, pa-impress...)

For FISH-like design: (The YELLOW TOP is our GUIDE)
1. Place the design in such a way that the mouth is in your LEFT Side BELOW and the tail in UPPER right side. Remember that the YELLOW color is still on TOP and your guide. You can use any color as your FRONT but keep the mouth in the left side below.

...RIGHT Side UP; TOP rotate to your LEFT; RIGHT Side DOWN; TOP rotate to your LEFT; RIGHT Side UP; TOP rotate to your LEFT (2x); RIGHT Side DOWN...

After doing the moves, oftentimes you will go back to the same design (pattern). You will notice that the mouth will be on your UPPER RIGHT side. You will just place the mouth again to your lower LEFT side. Repeat the moves above and finally you will have a COMPLETE YELLOW TOP and ready for STEP 6.

TIP: There is a faster way to complete the YELLOW color when you arrived at the FISH-pattern. I will not teach it right now because it involves using your RIGHT and LEFT hands simultaneously. For now, try using your RIGHT hand.

For The TWO-pointed pattern: (The YELLOW TOP is our GUIDE)
1. Place any of the point (mouth) to your LOWER LEFT Side as in the the FISH-pattern.
2. Do the same moves above until you arrived at the FISH-pattern.
3. Do the moves of the FISH-pattern until you complete the YELLOW on top.

For The BOTTLE-like pattern: (The YELLOW TOP is our GUIDE)
1. Place the top of the bottle to your LEFT. The design will appear as if the bottle fall down and the top of the bottle to the left ( ONE YELLOW middle edge to your left and TWO vertical YELLOW, middle and right, ok).
2. Using your right hand, do the moves above until you arrived at the FISH-pattern.
3. Do the moves of the FISH-pattern until you complete the YELLOW on top.

For the YELLOW CROSS pattern: (The YELLOW TOP is our guide)
1. For this pattern you may choose ANY FRONT you want as long as the YELLOW is on TOP and the WHITE underneath.
2. Using your RIGHT hand do the moves above.
3. If you are lucky, you will arrived at the FISH-pattern immediately. Do the FISH-pattern.
4. Oftentimes you will be unlucky, but with fast hands and keen eyes you will save time. Do the same moves for any pattern you arrived at.

Congratulations you are now about to complete your Rubik's cube!
Be ready for STEP 6. LOOKING FOR TWO CORRECTLY POSITIONED UPPER CORNER PIECES OF ANY SIDE COLORS (BLUE, GREEN, RED, OR ORANGE...)

RUBIK'S 3X3 CUBE SOLUTION Part 4

STEP 4. MAKING A YELLOW CROSS ON TOP

In making a cross on TOP, you must at least have two YELLOW colored EDGE PIECES on TOP. Since, they are EDGE PIECES, they are diagonally adjacent to each other.

1. You must orient these two YELLOW color on TOP in the 12 o'clock and 9 o'clock position.
Since, you always have the YELLOW CENTER on TOP, you only need ONE YELLOW on top of the CENTER and ONE yellow at LEFT of the CENTER. (Dahil palagi tayong may YELLOW sa gitna na naka-fix, kailangan na lang natin ng isang YELLOW sa itaas ng gitnang YELLOW at isa pang YELLOW sa kaliwa nito). You will notice an inverted small letter "L" or the 12 o'clock and 9 o'clock position. You can select any FRONT you want as long as the inverted small letter "L" is in the 12 0'clock and 9 o'clock position. Do the following moves below:

...FRONT rotate to your right; TOP rotate to your left; RIGHT Side UP; Top rotate to your right; RIGHT Side DOWN; FRONT rotate to your left...

2. IF on the other hand, there is NO two EDGE PIECES (with YELLOW on TOP) in the 12 o'clock and 9 o'clock position-- just do the algorithm above until you get one. OKay, you are now ready for STEP 5. COMPLETING THE YELLOW FACE ON TOP. Next...

.

RUBIK'S 3X3 CUBE SOLUTION Part 3

STEP 3. COMPLETING THE MIDDLE LAYER

To complete the MIDDLE layer it is important that you are now familiar with the algorithm in STEP 2 because we will go back to that algorithm again and again.

In the MIDDLE layer, only the 4 EDGE PIECES without the YELLOW are needed. These are the possible positions to look at the EDGE PIECES without the YELLOW color:
1. In the MIDDLE layer and positioned correctly. Very good.
2. In the MIDDLE layer but in the wrong position.
3. In the UPPER layer.

The best and the fastest way to complete the MIDDLE layer is to position first the one in the UPPER layer because at times this piece can replaced the one in the WRONG position. (Mas magandang gamitin muna natin ang mga EDGE PIECES na nasa UPPER layer sa dahilan na ito na mismo ang papalit sa EDGE PIECE na mali ang posisyon).

Follow these procedure:

1. Look for the desired EDGE PIECE to be positioned at the MIDDLE layer.Look at the UPPER layer. The TWO colors of the desired EDGE PIECE will tell you where to go and what should be your orientation (FRONT).

EXAMPLE 1.
Supposed you see a "RED-BLUE" edge piece. If the RED is above the BLUE (Meaning RED is on TOP while the BLUE is at the SIDE,
a. Rotate the UPPER layer keeping an eye on the "RED-BLUE" edge piece.
b. Place it in the BLUE FACE.
c. The BLUE FACE with the inverted 'T' colored BLUE will now be your FRONT... YELLOW FACE is still on TOP... WHITE FACE BELOW...
d. Since, the RED FACE is on your LEFT. Follow the algorithm below USE YOUR LEFT HAND.

... TOP rotate to your right ; LEFT Side UP; TOP rotate to your right;
LEFT Side DOWN

Notice that you will be back to STEP 2, COMPLETING THE CORNER PIECES,
OK, you will now have RED-WHITE on the side and BLUE on TOP. Perform STEP 2, place the RED diagonally in the RED CENTER FACE, the WHITE color on your RIGHT , RED CENTER will now be your FRONT. Use your RIGHT hand.

...RIGHT Side UP; TOP rotate to your LEFT ; RIGHT Side DOWN

Notice the "RED-BLUE" edge piece is now positioned properly.

e. If the BLUE is above the RED; the algorithm will just be the other way around.
The RED FACEwith the inverted 'T' will now be your FRONT... YELLOW on TOP...WHITE below...USED YOUR RIGHT HAND.

... TOP rotate to your LEFT; RIGHT Side UP; TOP rotate to your LEFT; RIGHT Side DOWN...

Perform STEP 2. Place the BLUE-WHITE diagonally to the BLUE CENTER FACE. Your BLUE FACE in FRONT, WHITE on the LEFT Side:

...LEFT Side UP; TOP rotate to your RIGHT; LEFT Side DOWN...

f. Do the same for other EDGE PIECES--- "RED-GREEN"; "BLUE-ORANGE"; "ORANGE-GREEN"

G. IF THE EDGE PIECE IS WRONGLY POSITIONED IN THE MIDDLE LAYER YOU MUST PUT IT AT ONCE ON THE UPPER LAYER. Use the moves below:

If the EDGE PIECE is on your LEFT:
...Left Side UP; TOP rotate to your RIGHT; Left Side DOWN; Perform Step 2 then proceed at once to STEP 3.

If the EDGE PIECE is on your RIGHT:
... Right Side UP; TOP rotate to your LEFT; Right Side DOWN; Perform STEP 2 then proceed immediately to STEP 3.

YOU are now ready for the UPPER layer to FINALLY complete the colors in their proper FACES.
STEP 4. MAKING A YELLOW CROSS ON TOP. Next...

RUBIK'S 3X3 CUBE SOLUTION Part 2

STEP 2. HOW TO PLACE THE FOUR CORNER PIECES

To complete the WHITE FACE, hold the cube so that the YELLOW FACE is still on TOP and the WHITE FACE at the BOTTOM. Be sure that EDGE PIECES with the combination of WHITE and other SIDE color is still alongside the CENTER color in each FACE. (Ang mga EDGE PIECES na mayroon WHITE ay dapat katabi pa rin ng kaparehong kulay na nasa MIDDLE LAYER, i.e. beginning with WHITE underneath--WHITE-RED-RED; WHITE-BLUE-BLUE; WHITE-GREEN-GREEN; WHITE-ORANGE-ORANGE...)

ORIENTATION:
WHITE FACE underneath,
...RED edge - RED center of middle layer
...BLUE edge - BLUE center of middle layer
...ORANGE edge - ORANGE center of middle layer
...GREEN edge - GREEN center of middle layer

1. With the above orientation, we now proceed in placing the FOUR CORNER PIECES with WHITE in their proper position.

2. With YELLOW face still on TOP, we will look for WHITE color on the SIDE of the UPPER layer (YELLOW FACE). There are FOUR possible locations of the FOUR CORNER PIECES containing WHITE;
a. At the TOP on the YELLOW FACE,
b. At the SIDE of the UPPER LAYER (YELLOW FACE),
c. At the BOTTOM, together with WHITE, and
d. At the SIDE of the BOTTOM layer.

3. IMPORTANT: The WHITE color of the CORNER PIECE must always be at the SIDE of the UPPER layer. Since, the CORNER PIECE has three colors, the other color adjacent to WHITE (katabi ng WHITE) is also on the SIDE. WHITE should be combined to any of the colors on the SIDES but NOT YELLOW
EXAMPLE:

1. Suppose you find a CORNER PIECE with WHITE exactly positioned at the SIDE of the UPPER layer. Supposing again, that the adjacent color of WHITE is RED (Don't mind the color on TOP. Focus on the the TWO colors on the SIDE which is "WHITE-RED" ).

2. Since, WHITE is combined with RED, rotate the UPPER layer until you are facing the RED FACE. The position of the RED is always DIAGONALLY (palihis) to the RED CENTER. It may be on the upper left or upper right.

3. Now, your FRONT is the RED FACE. Upon placing the RED diagonally to the RED CENTER, look where the WHITE color go. To your LEFT or to your RIGHT.

4. If the WHITE is positioned to your LEFT, do the algorithm below: USING YOUR LEFT HAND

...LEFT Side UP; TOP going to your right; LEFT Side DOWN

5. If the WHITE is positioned to your RIGHT, do the algorithm below: USING YOUR RIGHT HAND

...RIGHT Side UP; TOP going to your left; RIGHT Side DOWN

6. Do the same algorithms for WHITE-BLUE; WHITE-ORANGE; WHITE-GREEN (Nos. 2,3,4 or 5)

7. If the WHITE color is not in the proper place, example, it is located on TOP. Place the WHITE color on top, directly ABOVE the NON-WHITE color below, to be replaced. You may do the algorithm below;
If what you are replacing is in your BOTTOM LEFT:

...LEFT Side UP; TOP rotate clockwise 90 degrees ; LEFT Side DOWN
REPEAT PROCEDURE 1 - 5

If what you are replacing is in your BOTTOM RIGHT

... RIGHT Side UP; TOP rotate counterclockwise 90 degrees; RIGHT Side DOWN
REPEAT PROCEDURE 1-5

8. If the WHITE color is at the SIDE of the BOTTOM layer:
Positioned on the LEFT SIDE (Place your thumb to the WHITE color)

...LEFT Side UP; TOP rotate clockwise 90 degrees; LEFT Side DOWN
REPEAT PROCEDURE 1-5

Positioned on the RIGHT SIDE (Place your thumb to the WHITE color)

...RIGHT Side UP; TOP rotate counterclockwise 90 degrees; RIGHT Side DOWN
REPEAT PROCEDURE 1-5

9. Do the same if the WHITE CORNER PIECE is underneath.

IF YOU WILL NOTICE WE ARE JUST REPEATING THE ALGORITHMS IN STEP 1 AND STEP 2, AGAIN AND AGAIN, THAT'S WHY IT'S EASY TO MEMORIZE.

PRACTICE THIS ALGORITHMS REPEATEDLY. YOU MUST DO IT ABOUT 10 SECONDS AT THE MOST.

STEP 3.`COMPLETING THE MIDDLE LAYER ( F2L). Next....

RUBIK'S 3X3 CUBE SOLUTION Part 1

Rubik's Cube Solution the Tyson Mao Way

This is the easiest and the fastest way to solve the Rubik's 3x3 cube. All you need is proper concentration, focus, fast on your hand, and your eyes. The procedure that I will present to you below is the combination of verbal explanations as well step-by-step algorithms (moves).

Before I proceed to the solution proper, I assumed that we both are using the same kind of cube. The standard 3x3 cube has the following orientation:
(This is very important and you must always focus on the position of these CENTER colors)

WHITE opposite YELLOW RED opposite ORANGE BLUE opposite GREEN

Also, you must, by now familiar with following terms used:
1. FACE - the face of each cube is denoted by the CENTER color which is always stationary. There are six CENTER colors in each face: WHITE, YELLOW, RED, ORANGE, BLUE, and GREEN.
2. EDGE PIECES - the piece in between the CORNER PIECES. There are TWO colors for each EDGE PIECE.
3. CORNER PIECES- pieces at the corner of the cube. There are THREE colors for each CORNER PIECE.
4. ALGORITHMS - set of moves. There are different algorithms for each step.
5. TOP LAYER - upper portion of your cube. Combinations of CENTER PIECE, EDGE PIECES, and CORNER PIECES. For us, its always the YELLOW color FACE.
6. MIDDLE LAYER- the center layer. Combinations of CENTER PIECES, and EDGE PIECES.
7. BOTTOM LAYER- the lowermost portion of the cube. Same combinations as the TOP LAYER except for us we are using the WHITE CENTER FACE underneath, always.
8. F2L - simply the First Two Layers

The first thing I will tell now, is to forget ALL the algorithms or moves you know or been using. Anyway, you'll not regret it when you learn this new algorithms. It's as easy as munching peanuts. You can even do it using one hand!! Correct practice is the KEY.

From now on, you belong to the WHITE-YELLOW CUBIES. Our orientation is always and will always be WHITE at the BOTTOM and YELLOW on TOP. You're are no longer a beginner. In one week time you are ready for speed cubing. Later on, 4x4, 5x5....

STEP 1. MAKE A WHITE CROSS ON YELLOW CENTER FACE.

The first thing we should always do is to complete the WHITE FACE. Remember that the WHITE face is opposite the YELLOW face. WE WILL PUT EDGE PIECES WITH WHITE to the YELLOW CENTER FACE. (Ilalagay natin ang mga EDGE PIECES na mayroon WHITE color pa-cross sa lugar ng YELLOW face. Napapagitnaan ng APAT na EDGE PIECES with WHITE ang YELLOW CENTER color). Follow the steps below:
1. Hold the cube with the YELLOW center face UP and the WHITE face underneath.
2. Look for EDGE PIECES containing WHITE. You must have keen eyes and fast hands (left and right) to do this. The EDGE PIECES may be located on TOP, at the MIDDLE, and at the BOTTOM layer. PLace them alongside the YELLOW center on TOP thus, forming a CROSS with YELLOW as CENTER.
3. Look at the MIDDLE layer. Since, the WHITE color on TOP is combined with another color on the side, we must look for these colors located in the MIDDLE portion.
Example:
a. WHITE on top and RED on the side. Look for the RED center FACE at the MIDDLE and place it alongside the RED on the side with WHITE. Then, rotate this FACE (RED FACE) 180 degrees to the WHITE center face underneath. (Hanapin ang RED center face sa gitnang bahagi at itapat sa RED na nasa gilid sa itaas. Iikot ito hanggang sa WHITE sa ilalim).
b. WHITE on top and BLUE on the side. Look for the BLUE center FACE at the MIDDLE and place it alongside the BLUE on the side with WHITE. Then, rotate this FACE (BLUE FACE) 180 degrees to the WHITE center face umderneath. (Hanapin ang BLUE center face sa gitnang bahagi at itapat sa BLUE na nasa gilid sa itaas. Iikot ito hanggang sa WHITE sa ilalim).
c. Use the same procedure for WHITE-GREEN combination and WHITE-ORANGE combination.

4. Now, you have made WHITE cross underneath together with WHITE center FACE.
We are now ready for Step 2. Practice step 1 until you can do it in 10 seconds at the most!!
HINTS: Oftentimes the EDGE PIECE with WHITE and the CENTER color at the MIDDLE is placed alongside each other. All you have to do is to rotate it 180 degrees to the WHITE face at the BOTTOM to save time.

STEP 2. HOW TO PLACE THE FOUR CORNER PIECES. Next...

Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?
Answer: Psalm 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalm 118.

Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalm 118.

Add these numbers together, and you get 1188 chapters.

What is the center verse in the bible?
Answer: Psalm 118:8

Does this verse say something important about God's perfect will for lives? The next time someone says he would like to find God's perfect will for his life and that he wants to be in the center of God's will, just send him to the center of God's Word!

Psalm 118:8 (NKJV) "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man."

Amazing! Isn't it?

PINOY GENIUS

DAGOHOY in the UNITED STATES

It was the first day of school in Washington,DC and a new student named Dagohoy, the son of a Filipino immigrant, entered the fourth grade.

The teacher began, "Let's review some American history, class. who said: 'Give me liberty or give me death?' "

She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Dagohoy's who had his hand up, "Patrick Henry, 1775."

"Very good," said the teacher.

"Who said: 'Government of the people, by the people, and for the people, shall not perish from the earth' "?

Again, no response except from Dagohoy: "Abraham Lincoln, Gettysburg 1863," he said.

The teacher snaps at the class, "Class you should be ashamed, Dagohoy who is new to our country knows more about our history than you do."

She hears a loud whispers from the back: "Screw the Filipinos!"

"Who said that?" she demanded.

Dagohoy put his hand up. "General John Pershing, Manila, 1896."

At that point, Jack, another student says, "I'm going to puke."

The teacher glares and asks, "All right! Now who said that?"

Again Dagohoy answers, "George Bush, Sr. to the Japanese Prime Minister during the state dinner, Tokyo, 1991."

Now furious, another student yells, "Oh yeah? Suck this!!"

Dagohoy jumps out of his chair waving his hand and shouts to the teacher at the top of his voice,
"Bill Clinton to Monica Lewinsky, the Oval Office, 1997!!"

Someone shouts, "You little shit if you say anything else, I'll kill you."

Dagohoy yells, "Congressman Gary Condit to Chandra Levy, Washington D.C., 2001!"

The teacher faints.

"I'm outta here!" mutters one student as he sidles to the door.

"President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Baguio City, December 30, 2002!!" Dagohoy responds.

As the class gathers around her on the floor, someone says, "Oh shit, now we're really in big trouble!"

"Saddam Hussein, on the Iraq invasion, Baghdad, May 2003!" Dagohoy bellowed.

"Now, I really have to run," Jack mutters, heading for the exit.

"Gloria Macapagal Arroyo again, Pampanga, October 4, 2003!!!" Dagohoy shouts triumphantly jumping with glee.

Then, a burly African-American boy grabbed Dagohoy and strangled him, about to give a fistful to a frightened Dagohoy. Then, an Asian boy stood up and shouted, "Hey easy on him. I'M A FILIPINO!!"

Dagohoy then blurted out before he got socked out, "Fernando Poe, Jr. , Manila, January 2004!!!"

SESQUIPEDALIAN WORDS

SESQUIPEDALIAN WORDS
are very long words, literally, "a foot and a half long."
This adjective is applied ironically to pedantic words of inordinate length, sesqui is a Latin adverb meaning "half as much again"; pedalis (based on ped, the stem of pes, foot) means "a foot long"; hence sesquipedalis (a foot and a half long).

Try to recite an example of a preposterous bit of sesquipedalianism,

floccinaucinihilipilification

Congratulations you've just recited the 10th longest word in the English language. It means the action of estimating as worthless.

How about the 7th longest word? Ready?

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Easy isn't it? Easy because the word was popularized by the song of this title in the film Mary Poppins (1964) where it used to mean 'wonderful".

The 5th longest word is,

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis

Next to supercali... I think this is the second word on the Top 10 list that's easy to recite. You just divide the word into five parts, i.e.

Pneumono/ ultramicroscopic/ silico/ volcano/ coniosis

That's it. This word first appeared in print in 1936 meaning' a lung disease caused by breathing very fine dust '.

The 2nd longest word is very memorable to me. This word was often recited by the late Ernie Baron (Pinoy walking encyclopedia) in his program, ' Knowledge Power'. Whenever a listener in his program would inquire about the longest word, he will recite this word readily. The word is,

Aopadotenachoselachogaleokranioleipsanodrimhipotrimmatosil-
phioparaomelitokatakechymenokichlepikossyphophattoperisteralek
tryonoptekeplialliokigklopeleiolagoiosiraiobaphetraganopterygon

Mr. Baron would recite this word as if he was only singing.

This word is the English transliteration of a 170- letter Greek word that appears in The Ecclesiazusae ( a comedy on government by women) by the Greek playwright Aristophanes as a description of a 17-ingredient dish.

Finally, for the longest word in the English language? I need to muster enough time...

DAVID COPPERFIELD'S AMAZING CARD ILLUSION

David Copperfield's Disappearing Card Illusion

If, out of the blue, you received David Copperfield's amazing card illusion via e mail, don't be amazed or be puzzled.

It's not an illusion at all. It's just a fancy trick to fool your eyes or your imagination. I don't know if it's really from David Copperfield. I have this feeling that somebody is using his name. If you know the workings of Power Point or any other program for that matter, you too can make a trick like this one.

Here's the gist of the trick...

First slide, you're told to choose one card out of the given six cards.

Then, enter second slide, and so on... up to the last slide.

Here's how it is done...

When it say choose a card, you must remember all the given six cards instead. Or, better write it down on a sheet of paper.

Here's the funny thing. In slide six (I think), the caption reads: "I can, through your monitor see your mind."See my mind? No way, man. I am not an illusionist but I'm not dumb either. You can't see my mind but, I could see the trick.

Other slide says, "see your card is gone".

My card is gone! No way, man. But, instead you must say: " Lo and behold! ALL the six cards are gone. I've replaced them with 5 other cards."

The fact remains the same that even if you'll choose ALL the given cards, they'll all be gone or disappear and be replaced.

Try it.

HERE'S SOMETHING FOR REAL ( David Blaine watch out )

...And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

...And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear

....But straightway Jesus spoke unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.Matthew 14:25-27

HOW SMART IS YOUR RIGHT FOOT?

How Smart is Your Right Foot? Try This.

Just try this...

It is from an orthopedic surgeon...

This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your right foot, but you can't.

It's preprogrammed in your brain!!

1. While sitting where you are , at your desk, in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.

Your foot will change direction!

I told you so!!!!

And there's nothing you can do about it.

You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done, you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.

Send it to your buddies, to frustrate them also.
