POMOLOGY 101

KUMQUAT

Widely grown in China and cultivated throughout
the subtropics as well as Southern California
and Florida. The Chinese use them as a
candied fruit. They are eaten fresh
(the skin is also edible),
preserved, or made
into jams.
Branches
are used as Chritmas decorations.
Kumquats are rich in vitamin A.

My Mommie eats those sometimes! They are like tiny little baby oranges.

Lots of Kumquat in Divisoria and Ongpin esp. during Chinese New Year (Feb)...They are arranged like wreaths and hang on front door, for prosperity (daw).
