Dolphins and Porpoises

Which Is Which?

Both dolphins and porpoises belong to the whale order, but dolphins are generally larger than porpoises. They are mammals, not fish. Dolphins have long beaklike snouts; porpoises have blunt snouts. Dolphins are probably the most playful group of whales.

The Man Under the Mango Tree said...

I am from the Philippines... Though we are placed 9th in the top 10 mango producing countries in the world (290,000 tons annual production), our mangoes are sought-after by countries such as Japan, USA, etc because of its favorable taste.

The mango I am speaking of here is/are homegrown varieties as well as Indian and Pakistani mangoes planted in our backyard (7 trees in all).

I'll check your blog...
